Leon Collins

Leon's parents, Clarence and Lorraine Collins, both ran the original Collins Real Estate office for 30 years in Fort Valley, where Leon grew up.  When he turned 18, he became the youngest salesperson in Georgia at the time and at 21, he became the youngest Broker in Georgia.  So as you can see, real estate is in his blood!
 
He graduated cum  laude from the University of Georgia with a BBA  in Real Estate and Urban Development. He later earned his Doctor of Laws degree from Emory University School of Law, followed by his Masters of Tax Law (LL.M) degree in Taxation from University of Miami School of Law.  After practicing tax and business law for four years in Americus, GA, he and Connie moved back to Byron in 1982 to continue the family business at Collins Real Estate.  Although Leon does not practice law as a business, he uses his legal knowledge every day in his real estate business to be the best REALTOR he can be!
